Description
A card is freely selected by the spectator, signed, returned to the deck which is shuffled and the card lost.
The magic words are uttered, magic passes made, and the selected has suddenly risen to the top of the deck.
The deck is shuffled again, magic words uttered, and the selected card is back on the top again.
The magician explains how the trick is done. The selected card, under the spell of the magic words, is able to float up to the top of the deck.
Nobody believes a word he says, so he offers to demonstrate.
He places the deck on the palm of his hand, utters the magic words again, and surprise !! the selected card visibly rises off the deck to hover in mid-air!
After a few seconds, the card settles back on the deck. It is taken off, shown, and given to the spectator as a souvenir.
