This is the classic Copper and Silver effect. Show a copper coin and a silver coin and hold one in each hand. say the magic words and the coins change places! You can repeat the effect continuously forever (not recommended)!
Many variations are possible also, e.g. you can place one coin in the pocket and keep the other in the hand and they will change places. The coins will change places in the spectator's hand also!
Various routines and variations can be found in books and magazines on magic and once you understand the simple secret, you can invent your own routines.
