The magician shows a red rope and a white rope. A simple knot is tied in the centre of the red rope. The ropes are now twirled together and when separated, the red knot is seen to have jumped across to the centre of the white rope! For a knock-out climax, the magician unties the red knot on the white rope and it is seen that it has really become part of the white rope! This is a very pretty and baffling effect that will leave the audience puzzled for a long, long time! The trick is very easy to do and like all the other clever rope tricks of Pavel, does not require any sleight-of-hand.

This is really not just a trick but a complete rope routine! It is the latest rope creation of Pavel and is new, new new! A length of rope approximately 70 in. long is cut in two parts of about 10 and 60 inches. The two pieces are tied together. The rope is held vertically so that the knot is towards the bottom. Magically, the knot jumps to the centre of the rope! The knot is untied and the rope is seen to be cut at this point! The two equal ropes are retied and the knot is left at the centre. Suddenly, the knot jumps to the top of the rope! The knot is untied there and it is seen that the ropes are again short and long pieces! By pulling on the ends of the ropes, the two pieces stretch until they become equal in length again. They are shown genuinely separately to be two equal ropes! The ropes are now tied into two separate rings. They are thrown up into the air and when they are caught again, they have become linked together! To finish, the knots are untied and amazingly, the two ropes are now one long rope again! Like all the other Pavel effects, this rope routine is easy to do and has a tremendous impact. No difficult moves to memorise, everything blends in smoothly and effortlessly. You will love this!

A long piece of rope about 18 feet in length is tied between two chairs. The rope is cut at ANY point selected by the audience. The cut ends are tied together then ..... the knot is openly slid along the rope to any other freely chosen position! The knot is untied there and incredibly, the rope is found to be cut at that spot! Once more the ends are tied together, then the knot openly moved to another position again, untied, and it is seen that the rope is now separated at that point! This can be repeated a few times (in reality, forever!) and at the end, the rope is suddenly restored to one piece and the knot has disappeared! WOW! This trick won for its inventor Pavel the first prize award for inventions in a FISM convention many years ago and the trick is still the best rope trick in existence! The knot is then moved to the right side and untied there ...... and the rope is in two pieces at that point! The ends are tied again and the knot is then moved over to the left side ..... and untied there! Finally the ends are tied together again and the knot moved to any position freely selected by the audience. The knot is untied at that point and the rope is seen to be completely restored! This trick is exactly the same as the Super Walking Knot except that the knot can be moved to either the right side or the left side of the cut and the rope shown to be separated at that point. All the other features are the same as the Super Walking Knot.

A 6 feet length of rope is cut about 15 inches from the upper end and the two pieces tied together. The knot is then slid to the centre of the rope, the knot untied and the rope shown to be now separated at that point! The ends are retied and the knot then slid to the lower end of the rope and untied there. Finally, the ends are tied together again and the knot made to disappear leaving the rope intact in one piece! The trick is the same as the Simplified Walking Knot except the rope is much shorter and is meant to be held in the hands and not tied to two chairs. It is therefore ideal as a stand-up effect. Just like the other two stage versions, this is a reputation-maker!

A knot is tied in the middle of a piece of rope. Another knot is tied
above the first one, then another, then another and so on. More
knots are tied until finally, a large bundle is formed and the rope is
almost all used up. Now holding an end of the rope in each hand, the
magician blows on the knots ..... and the bundle of knots detaches
itself and falls to the floor leaving the magician with just a short
piece of rope in his hands!
The magician shows a length of yellow rope and ties a knot in the
centre. Holding the knot in the left hand, he throws a cup of confetti
over the knot with his other hand. As the confetti showers down, the
knot in the yellow rope visibly changes to red! As a knock-out finale,
the knot is untied and it is seen that it has become a part of the
yellow rope!
Here, the magician holds a red rope and a yellow rope in each hand. The
red rope has a knot in the centre. He gathers up the ends then lets them
fall down again. The red knot is now on the yellow rope and when it is
untied, it has become a part of the rope!
Six large rings are displayed and shown on both sides. Three of them are
bright red and three are bright yellow. The rings are fastened to a
length of rope by means of clothes pegs attached to the rope, the order
of the rings being three red then
the three yellow. Now the ends of the rope are brought together then
separated again. Magically, the rings are now strung alternately red and
yellow along the rope! The
effect is repeated and the rings separate themselves again into reds and
yellows!
