Hold a red and a white chip in each hand but when you open your hand again, the red chips are together in one hand and the white chips in the other hand! Remove another red and white chip leaving just one red and one white chip (even more easier to follow, you say). Hold a chip in each hand and the two chips change places with each other! Finally, remove the ice chip leaving the last fire chip in your hand. A slight squeeze and the last chip disappears into nothing ..... the fire is spent! This must be the most fabulous routine with chips! The routine can be lengthened or shortened as you wish and the ending leaves you completely clean! Furthermore, there are no sleights involved so you can concentrate on your story of fire and ice!

Give a small brass nut to a spectator to thread onto a string. The
threaded nut is then covered with a handkerchief and the spectator holds
on firmly to the ends of the string so that there is no way to remove
the nut unless he lets go of the ends. The magician places his hands
under the handkerchief and after a few seconds, the handkerchief is
removed. The spectator is still holding on to the ends of the string but
the nut is free! Everything can be minutely examined! 
Show two metal chips, one with a black centre and one with a white
centre and hold one in each hand. Say the magic words and the
chips magically change places with each other!

Here is a very cute tiny bird with which you can perform many surprising
antics. You can balance the bird on your finger and make it hop from
your hand to the table or make it jump into a box! Nobody else can do
it! Have a card selected by the spectator and the bird will find the
card in a very unusual way! You can also balance the bird on a
cigarette, a pen or a pencil! At the end of his antics, let him hop from
your magic wand into his box! Then close the lid and let him sleep.
