Diablo
Recounting a story of friendly demons, the magician proposes a
demonstration. He sups his hands together and invites the spectator to watch
closely. A bright glow suddenly appears within the darkness of his cupped
hands! After a few seconds, the face of a demon appears amidst the
eerie glow. Suddenly the light disappears, the magician separates his hands,
and the demon has disappeared!
What did the spectator see? An illusion? An hallucination? A demon?
Who knows???
This is obviously an
effect out of the ordinary, and should appeal to you if you like horror and
bizarre magic. Presented with a little story, it will be an unforgettable
effect!

This is a comical close-up effect!
Show a small die at your fingertips. Cover it with your other hand and
crush it. Separate your hands again. The die has now been crushed flat
and can be given out for examinatgion or made to disappear completely
ino thin air!
The trick is very easy to do. Carry it around in your pocket and you
will be always ready to make your audience laugh! You are furnished with
a special die and the flat, plastic die.

Flop
Exhibit a set of cardboard plaques
with metallic floral decorations. Close up the plaques then let them
drop open again. Surprisingly, all the floral decorations have changed
colour!
You can make the flowers change from single colour to multi colours or
vice versa. For example, show all the colours different, ask the
audience to select a colour (forced) then make all the flowers changed
to the selected colour.
For kiddies' shows, you can show all the flowers the same colour. Ask
the children to name a colour and you will be sure to get different
colours called out. Create as much confusion as you can, then to satisfy
everyone, make the flowers multi coloured!
The plaques work automatically. Open them out to show the flowers. Close
them then let them drop open again and the flowers have changed colour!
Or you can hold the chain up by the topmost plaque. Give it a slight
twist and the plaques will drop down one after another making the colour
changes visibly - a very pretty effect! You can make the colour changes
continuously back and forth without re-setting. Just pick up the plaques
and you are always ready!

Growing
Pearl
This unusual apparatus permits you to present different effects. Here
are two of them.
Effect
1.
The magician displays an oyster shell. He opens the shell and shows a
tiny pearl inside. The pearl is removed and vanished. The shell is
opened again and there is now a bigger pearl. This is also removed and
again vanished. Once more, the magician opens the shell and there is now
a giant pearl!
Effect
2.
The magician shows an oyster shell, opens it and exhibits a tiny pearl.
This is removed and placed on the table. The shell is closed, a magic
pass is made and the shell opened again to reveal inside a larger pearl.
This pearl is removed and placed beside the small one on the table. The
shell is closed and another magic pass made. This time, when the shell
is opened, a giant pearl is seen inside!
The Growth of a Pearl effect is an idea from M. Kumar of India and is
based on the Growing Die. You will find this pearl version very charming
for the ladies as well and you can of course combine it with other pearl
effects.

Gypsy
Thread, Luminous
The magician snaps off a piece of sewing thread about 60 cm. long from
its spool. The thread is then broken into small pieces. A piece is held
between the forefinger and thumb and the rest of the broken pieces are
rolled up into a small ball and then attached to this piece. After the
magic words, the thread is pulled out and shown to have been completely
restored!
The
“Gypsy Thread” is a classic effect, very mysterious and magical.
There are different ways to perform it but the method supplied is simple
and very clean.
You receive a spool of special luminous thread which glows under
ultra-violet lights and the necessary instructions. The thread is
available in orange or yellow colours.

Imagi Bubbles
This is not a trick but a blowing of bubbles in a poetic manner. You
show an unusual bottle in the shape of a crescent moon, then using the
dipper supplied, blow out a quantity of coloured soap bubbles
accompanied with appropriate patter, to finish your close-up act.
The bottle can also be worn as a mysterious
pendant around the neck. The soap solution can be re-filled from most
magic shops (or toy shops) that stock the soap bubble solution.

Rising
Matchbox

Next time when you need to light up a match (to light a candle or a
cigarette for example) use this matchbox. Take it out, open it to
show it normal, then close it again. Now hold it with your fingers and
with no false moves, you can make the match box open slowly amd
mysteriously all by itself! After it is opened, you can remove the cover
and even dump all the matches out on the table and show everything
freely - no strings, no gimmicks, no magnets ...... nothing suspicious
at all!
Note that you can show the box freely before and after the effect. The
drawer can be removed and show all round at anytime. There is nothing
attached, no invisible threads or whatnot. As they say, the matchbox is
self contained. You will find this to be a real gem of an effect!

Ball & Tube, Locking
Show a shiny steel ball and an elegant brass tube then place the ball on
to of the tube. The ball is obviously too large to fit in the tube.
Concnetrate on the ball and tube, make some mysterious gestures and ....
the ball slowly sinks into the tube! After a few seconds, it rises out
of the tube again!
The effect is repeated with the ball sinking out of sight into the tube
then rising out again. To finish, the ball and tube are given to the
spectator to examine .... he finds the ball just too big to fit int the
tube!!
This classic effect is now available with a
beautiful brass tube and steel ball and everything can be given for
examination .... there is nothing to steal away and the whole
presentation is easy and clean-cut! Very elegant apparatus!
